Rent an electric-assist bicycle, GREEN RIDE, from The Yuinchi Hotel Nanjo in Nanjo City, in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.
Enjoy a leisurely cycle along quiet roads surrounded by greenery, listening to the birds chirping. From the observation deck along the way, you can see the beautiful ocean and the cityscape of Nanjo City.
Simply unlock the bike with the app and set off!
It's an electric-assisted bike, so you can move forward with little effort.
It feels great to ride while feeling the breeze on your skin!
City Hall East Observation Plaza
As you walk along the bicycle and pedestrian path, you will come across a tiled roof gazebo. This area is on high ground, so the view is excellent, with the cityscape of Nanjo City and the sea below. The greenery is beautiful and the breeze feels pleasant.
It was a walking course for locals, so I took my time when passing by.
When I said hello, I got a smile in return.
Observation space on a private road
As I continued along the road, I found a space to park my bike, so I took a break.
From here, I could enjoy the magnificent view of the lush greenery of Nanjo. Although it was a high-altitude course, I didn't expect to be able to see such a beautiful green landscape, so I felt like I got what I deserved. Nanjo City is a place rich in both sea and greenery. Don't forget to take a commemorative photo.
Air Self-Defense Force Chinen Base Observation Deck
From the observation deck, you can see the cityscape from Nanjo City to Nishihara Town and the beautiful blue gradation of the ocean. There are tables and chairs below the observation deck, so it's a good place to take a short break, so you can bring some snacks and drinks.
The road is flat, so you might be able to proceed smoothly without the assistance of GREEN RIDE. If you have the energy, give it a try.
"Sashiki Enjin no Yu" natural hot spring located inside The Yuinchi Hotel Nanjo
The Yuinchi Hotel Nanjo has a natural hot spring called "Enjin no Yu". This facility is also available for day-trip bathing for non-guests. After enjoying cycling on the GREEN RIDE, why not take some time to relax in the natural hot spring?
